| Fantastic! There is no glossing over and Plantinga talks about the positives and the hard parts of the Christian faith. This makes for a fair and rounded interview by any standards. Some people may think that when one becomes a Christian there is a gradual but eventual staircase ascending to heaven and it's no suffering and all roses. But it is simply not like that. When I follow Jesus, I am called to take my cross up daily and follow Him; this is through the good, the bad and the ugly. I do not consider it a loss for myself, to be persecuted for my faith in Jesus. Unbelievers may even call me a fool...but this means I am doing the job God put me on this earth to do. "Do not deceive yourselves. If any one of you thinks he is wise by the standards of this age, he should become a 'fool' so that he may become wise" 1 Corinthians 3: 18. I am so glad I am a 'fool' for God! wooohooooo!!! I am so blessed!! |
