A
national representative research-only panel survey commissioned by CPX and conducted by McCrindle Research has found that 91% of Australians are supportive of religious songs in public at Christmas time, while only 13.5% say they will definitely attend a service on Christmas day.
Barney Swartz, writing in the Age Newspaper, picks up on the CPX Christmas survey saying that 'Australians prefer a traditional to a politically correct Christmas, thought that might not stretch to going to church on Christmas day.'
As the consultation committee hands in its report to the government on
a human rights charter, CPX directors insist that while there is no
specifically Christian view on the question of the necessity of a
charter, the principle of self sacrifice should take precedence over
self interest.

'God spots' in the brain - ABC Perth

Greg Clarke was interviewed on ABC Perth by Geraldine Mellet about a U.S. study into the human brain. Researchers have found evidence that religiosity is managed in the same parts of the brain that are used every day to interpret other people's moods and intentions and to analyse experiences.
