Peter Harrison is the Andreas Idreos Professor of Science and Religion at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Harris Manchester College.
Highly regarded in his field, he has written extensively in the area of cultural and intellectual history, and is an expert in philosophical, scientific and religious thought.
In this interview with John Dickson (in 6 parts) Harrison has some especially interesting things to say about the link between Christianity and the rise of modern science. He also responds to some challenging arguments against religious belief.
